Co-Breeders of 2010 WestminsteR BIS Winner
CH. Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot
The first Anstamm champion, Miss Nanette Anstamm, was born in 1948 in the home of owner Anthony Stamm. In 1961, he and his wife, Miriam "Buffy" Stamm imported Eng. Ch. Bardene Boy Blue, who was the first of the three famous Bardene stud dogs who strongly influenced the breed in the 60's. Carnation Farm's Eng., Can., Am. Ch. Bardene Bingo was the second and the third was Stamms' Bingo son, Ch. Bardene Bobby Dazzler. Bobby Dazzler arrived in 1965 and within five years, 75% of all Scottie champions were descended from one or more of the "Three B's."

Anstamm is a kennel built on its stud dogs. The most famous Anstamm sire was strongly linebred on all three Bardene boys: Ch. Anstamm Happy Venture. "Murray," as he was known, became the breed's all-time top-producing Scottie sire, with 90 champions to his credit.
